SINHARAJA FOREST MODEL

Direction 01

• At Galaha junction come straight along the New Galaha road until you reach the Alwis pond.

• Turn right and keep walking passing the Science Library.

• Just after passing the library, you will be facing a large building with a U-shaped drive-in and a lawn in the front. The Department of Botany is on the left side of this building.

• Enter this building through the lobby, and pass the foyer to enter the corridor.

• Take a left turn on the corridor and keep walking, until you see an exit on the right side.

• Once you exit you will find the Sinharaja Forest Model.

Direction 02

• At Galaha junction come straight along the New Galaha road until you reach the Faculty of Science.

• Take the left entrance, and you will see a pond on the right side of the quadrangle.

• Keep walking without turning until you pass the rectangular building complex and you will enter a narrow passage.

• Walk up to the end of the passage to enter the Department of Zoology from its back entrance.

• Turn left to enter the building, and you will see a corridor, extending to the Department of Botany.

• Keep walking on the corridor to the end, until you see an exit on the right side.

• Once you exit you will find the Sinharaja Forest Model.

* Obtain permission prior to your visit from the Head of the Department of Botany or the Guardian of Sinharaja Forest Model.
